Piercings

Have piercings done? Then it is very important to take good care of them from now on. If you don't do this, you can start to suffer from it or it can even become inflamed. Therefore, drop a few drops of the aftercare bottle over your button at the front and back twice a day for two weeks, so that it can reach the hole well on both sides. use a tissue to catch the liquid and not a cotton ball (cottons can leave fluff and can cause irritation). Then carefully clean your earring. Make sure you include the front and back around the earring. If the going gets tough, soak a cotton swab with the nourishing liquid and clean the earring.

What else should you pay attention to?

In addition to keeping your earrings clean, you should also pay attention to a number of points:

  • Do not swim, bath or sauna for two weeks.

  • Don't turn the knob! As a result, you keep opening the wound in the hole again and again.

  • Is your ear hole inflamed? Keep your button in the first three days because of possible bleeding. Also check whether the earring cap is not too close to your ear. After three days the ear hole can grow back again and after six weeks you can have a new hole popped.

  • Drip with the liquid twice a day for the first two weeks, then once a day as long as you wear the earrings and the holes are healing. This takes about 6 weeks.

  • It is preferable to touch your earring as little as possible with your fingers, but if you do, make sure your hands are disinfected.

  • After six weeks you can exchange your stud for new earrings. In addition, make sure that you always have an earring in the new hole for the next six months, otherwise your holes may close up.
